Wharton will be migrating everyone to the latest Exchange 2007 e-mail service over the course of the month. The change will bring many improvements on the back end, plus two immediately visible improvements: a much better Webmail system and access to Outlook from off-campus will no longer require a VPN connection....

Effective June 30th, 2008, Wireless PennNet (WHNOWIRE), the web-authenticated wireless network available in schools such as the Wharton School and Penn Law School, and in public spaces such as Van Pelt Library, College Green, and University Square, will be retired on June 30th 2008. AirPennNet, which has been available in those locations since early January, will continue to be available on all centrally managed wireless networks across campus...

We have received the following notice regarding the Fiberlink dialup service that some of you use to access the Internet remotely while traveling. Unfortunately, the service will be discontinued on Monday, January 7th, 2008. The company providing the access stopped maintaining the actual software several years ago, and has decided to shift its business into another area. As such, they have significantly increased their base price and surcharges to Wharton and their other customers...
